K-Solv is committed to being a leader in Environmental Health and Safety by protecting the environment through the conservation of resources, complying with all applicable legal and moral requirements that apply to all our operations, as well as protecting our most valuable assets – our people.

Protecting the environment and our surrounding communities is our continuous commitment, and we work closely with suppliers and our customers to eliminate product waste. We practice recycling our materials and utilize recycled materials whenever possible across our business processes.

Health

Our employees are our most valuable assets, and we are dedicated to protecting the health and safety of each one. We also recognize physical and mental health go hand-in-hand and therefore maintain an Employee Assistance Plan (EAP) which provides support and counseling for our employees and their family members providing confidential counseling services to help address any personal issues.

Safety

At K-Solv, we connect our people with a safe, diverse and rewarding career path where they feel valued and secure in the workplace. We train and teach our employees the safest techniques and methods and demand they take personal responsibility for the safety of themselves and those around them.

Safety topics are not limited to work-related issues and safety training does not stop for us when our team members leave our property. Continuous education is paramount to ensure our people return home safely at the end of each day. This education and the resulting heightened awareness are principles we train and encourage our team members to follow every day.

Emergency Preparedness

The gulf coast is no stranger to severe weather and other regional disasters. We are very familiar with the events that can take place in and around the refineries, ship channel and surrounding areas. In fact, K-Solv and the K-Solv Group (K-Solv, Garner and OMI) have the unique ability to plan for and respond to man-made and natural disasters with rapid response, recovery, community assistance, and business continuity.
